Graduated from WMU (1992) with degrees in Accounting and Psychology.  Worked and hiked mountains in Alaska.  Traveled U.S. by auto, residing in a tent.  Started working for Oakland Community College.  Graduated from Walsh with a master’s in finance in 1999.  Married my amazing best friend Joe in 1999 whom I met at WMU.  We are blessed with two awesome children, Mason (4) and Miranda (3).  After taking extended maternity leaves, I worked full-time, then part-time and now I work occasionally from home.  (Mason told his preschool teacher that my job is to cuddle with my two kids.)   I am truly enjoying this time with my precious babies.  Still very close with my family, I talk daily with my brothers Larry (DHS ’87) and Carl (DHS ’90).    If you were to bump into me, it would probably be at the zoo, Target, the park, or soccer.  And yes, it’s true; I finally surrendered and bought a minivan.  Take care, looking forward to seeing you at the reunion!

John and I have been married for 16 years now, and we have 3 children: Jake 15, Jessie 4, and Luke 2. We have a houseful of pets, and just started remodeling our 80-year old farmhouse. I spent 8 years working full-time for the Michigan Army National Guard as a Unit Clerk...yes, I was Radar! Then, as Jake got older, I wanted to be home more and got a job with our local school district. We are hoping to move up by my parents' place near West Branch and are waiting to hear that my husband's transfer is approved. I have lost touch with everyone and can't wait to see you in September!

20 years just flew by!  I played college baseball for Brigham Young but didn't make the majors.  Returned to Michigan and finished my degree at U of M and went to work for the government.  I got married and had 3 daughters ages 7, 3, and 1.  Looking forward to paying for those weddings!  You all look great and seem to be doing well.  Congratulations on 20 years!!

After graduation, I attended Michigan State where I got a BA in English. After that, I earned a Master's degree in Secondary English Education from Wayne State. I did my student teaching at our alma mater with Larry Streeter and Judy Schultheiss. I've been teaching at Kimball HIgh (now Royal Oak High School) since 1993. I've loved my career and even fell for fellow teacher, David Barnett. We were married in 2002 and have since been blessed with two wonderful daughters; Jane turned 2 in February and Sarah was born this last September. Although I look forward to returning to teaching someday, I'm truly loving spending my days with my little gals.
